There are 4 main means of transport to travel in Georgia:
By own car: Perfect for full independence. Car rental is relatively expensive in Georgia and Georgian driving style can be stressful for some.
By taxi: Most expensive option but saves you from any traffic-related stress. Possibility to take breaks on the way. Check Yandex and Bolt taxi apps for cheaper prices.
By marshrutka: Cheapest option and notoriously fast. The inevitable near-death experiences caused by the drivers' insane manoeuvres are the obvious downside of travelling by marshrutka.
By train: By far the most comfortable mode of travel. Tickets are pretty cheap, ranging from very 10-50 lari depending on the destination and the condition of the train.
